Sennen

Sennen Beach

Located just a mile from Land’s End at the western edge of Whitesands Bay is Sennen a traditional family holiday resort with a great range of Self Catering houses, apartments and B&B’s.

Wander along the splendid sandy beach with your bucket and spade and you may well see a world champion surfer enjoying the fantastic waves or a hang glider high above you silently soaring on the thermals rising from the granite cliffs.

Sennen to Land's End

If you are feeling peckish whether a cappuccino, pannini, fish and chips or full a la carte dining you are spoilt for choice and will not go hungry with our splendid eateries for all ages and budgets. If you are feeling thirsty then taste the local brews at The Old Success in the Cove or The First & Last at the top of the village.

Missing a dose of retail therapy? why not drop into the RNLI shop or pop over the road to the local stores with everything from your daily newspaper to a local tee shirt or some Cornish tea.

Sennen Cove Maen Cliff Castle

Venturing further afield you can stretch those legs for a day and join the wonderful 600 mile South West Coast path, north towards Cape Cornwall or east towards the fantastic Minack Theatre just a few miles along the rugged cliff top path where you may glimpse dolphins, basking sharks or even the Cornish Chough with its red feet and beak.

If you tire of the beach then there is still plenty to do. The award winning Farmers Market at the top of the hill every Tuesday (9-12) with local food to feed all the family plus a range of crafts, a visit to Land’s End and all its attractions is just a mile away and an easy walk or hop on the open top bus as it stops in the cove and take a trip along the coast with magnificent views from the top deck.

At the end of another sunny day in Sennen wander along the seafront, savouring those traditional fish and chips and see if you can catch the green flash as the sun sets over the Scilly Isles. This is Cornwall at its very best.
