The cottage, formerly two tin-miners cottages, became available for letting following completion of renovation and refurbishment to a high standard, sympathetic to its character with a contemporary theme. Sleeping 6/7 in 3  bedrooms, with pocket-sprung mattresses and high quality bedding ensure a comfort-as-home experience. A bedroom with a king-size bed, and the large house bathroom with an electric over-bath shower, are on one side of the landing; a double and a twin room are to the other side, and  allow room for an extra child in a guest bed (provided) or a baby in a cot.
All towels and bedding are included but quests need to provide their own beach towels.
Downstairs, a beautiful solid wood floor offers style and quality in a large beamed-ceiling lounge with exposed stonework, around an open-hearth wood-burning stove. It is  furnished with settees and chairs, TV, DVD and a CD payer with radio and Broadband Wi-Fi for your enjoyment and convenience. Across the hall is a dining room with seating for six/seven, around an extendable table, off which there is a separate completely newly renovated kitchen, with all cooking appliances, crockery and cooking utensils. There is a newly built separate utility area with washing machine, tabletop freezer and dishwasher
Electric storage heaters have been installed throughout. A basket of logs is provided for the woodburning stove.
From the utility porch you can access a fully enclosed private garden,  A lawned area with flower beds  enjoys full sun all day. To the front to the cottage there is ‘off-road’ parking for 2 cars and a seating area with a newly-built ‘Cornish hedge’ bordered by new planting.
No smoking is allowed in the cottage. No pets are allowed.Arrival time is from 4.00pm and departure is 10.00am.

This is a lovely traditional cottage, that has a real ‘home from home’ feel that seems to be lost in a lot of self catering accommodation. There is lovely artwork around the house, comfortable sofas to sit infront of the woodburner. The beds are comfortable, with one room having lovely sea views. There is everything you need for a stay.
The coast path is minutes away, with Pendeen lighthouse round the corner. There seemed to be a regular bus service if you didn’t want to use your car. A good local pub just up the road along with a lovely pottery. Several art galleries nearby.
